Everyday activities make noise.

Partly linear music for dance. Relaxing<->exciting. Shuffle play recommended.

Chainsaw band, lawn blower, mower rhythm, ostinato throwing bottles into a bin, sorting dishes by pitch, scratching a beard or back or rubbing hands in the cold - human noises of everyday activities could be less polluting, if there’d be playful minds behind. One can imagine choreographed action of car motors and hooting in commuter traffic, rhythms on beer lids played with the rim of a chop stick like miniature cymbals, a bag of pens and metal things turned, all new now by sensing and playing with time, tone, pitch, volume etc. Similarly it works with traditional instruments. Always wear boxing gloves, while playing guitar. Playing a chainsaw doesn’t mean you can only create loud music with it.

ON THIS ALBUM
Played everyday items & traditional instruments, in an ensemble with dancers and audience. Music resembles a disturbing-relaxing image of often very short, absurd fragments. A few longer, more linear musical ones are in between, then getting dancy, moody, giddy, gloomy, clever, sedated, shock-frozen, or going elsewhere.

Instruments
Car pieces, pressurized plastic bottles, plastic can filled with dry polymer clay, bottle caps, sticks/claves of various materials and sizes, used to drum or twist between strings to rattle, all sorts of miniature bows, electric guitar, 80s portable mini keyboard, patchable mini synth, few fx pedals, mixdesk, two microphones.
